Diana has been teaching music for over 10 years. She got her start in High School when she taught beginners private lessons. In her senior year of High School, she began to learn string instruments and decided to pursue a career in music education. Diana attended Iowa State University in her home state of Iowa and continued to take lessons on Violin. After college, Diana began to substitute teach and started helping out with learners with special needs. She continued subbing and working with diverse learners after she and her husband moved to Oregon. Diana loves teaching music and uses music as an opportunity to teach life skills that will help her students even after they stop playing their instruments; if they do stop playing their instruments. Diana loves incorporating music theory, practice strategies, and her student's musical interests to provide a well-rounded music education experience.
